Tumbler Ridge, B.C. – Foul play has been ruled out in a death in Tumbler Ridge last weekend (see previous story).
In the mid-afternoon hours of Saturday July 16, Mounties there received a report of a sudden death in the 200 block of Spieker Avenue.
The officers who had responded to the call determined the circumstances surrounding the death of a 32-year-old woman appeared suspicious in nature and called in the North District Major Crime Unit (NDMCU) to investigate.
However now that an autopsy has been completed police have ruled out foul play and the NDMCU has closed its file. The BC Coroner’s Service continues to investigate.
