Prince George, B.C. – Authorities are trying to locate the driver of a rig that lost its load above the Cameron Street Bridge traffic circle and then left the scene.
Police, Commercial Vehicle Safety personnel and Prince George Fire Rescue all attended the scene on the on-ramp to Highway 97 above North Nechako Road around 1:20 this afternoon.
They found a flatdeck trailer, an industrial welder and an industrial pump, as well as some fuel, laying on the ground and in the ditch beside the roadway. There was no semi or driver to be found anywhere.
Absorbent material was spread on the ground to soak up the relatively small amount of fuel that had spilled.
Authorities say “the investigation is underway.”

just came through that; wondered ‘what was up’.
I am guessing it will take at lest 3 or 4 To work out whey the driver and unit left, come on..
Must be one of ’em perfessional drivers, LOL!
Didn’t make the roundabout, now gotta round ‘im up!
Pretty sure it was one of them know it all 4 wheeler pilots that thought they could handle more than a garden trailer on behind them.
A secured load will go a long way. I seen a guy gas it from an intersection the other day and he had a large tool box full of tools go sliding back right through the tailgate and into the intersection behind him.
Obviously they stole whatever that is, and then screwed off when they lost it.
Why isn’t there a camera at that traffic circle? Tons of incidents, spills etc.. makes sense.
Who is that little cutie bending down in the background? CVSE for the win!!
