Prince George, B.C.-  Three  men are missing and presumed to have drowned in three  separate incidents in the region in less than a week.

A  young man  from Vanderhoof  is missing and presumed drowned  on Arthur Lake  Saturday night.  He was fishing with a friend  when their boat  tipped and capsized sending both  young men into  the water.

Neither was wearing a life jacket.   While one was able to swim  to shore and  get a passing motorist to  call for help,  the other  young man  slipped  beneath the surface of the water and has not been seen since.   His name has not yet been released.  Vanderhoof and Terrace Search and Rescue are engaged and are searching the shores and lake using sonar..

The other two cases  happened  in Williams Lake.

Early Sunday morning a  35 year old Deep Creek man was fishing on the Fraser  River  near Xats-ull-Heritage Site Road when he fell into the river.  He has not been seen since. His name has not been released

Last week  24 year old Jordan Siegmueller of Williams Lake fell from the Rudy Johnson Bridge into the Fraser River.  An extensive search  along the river failed to  locate him.
