Prince George, B.C.- Three people who took part in the Ride Don’t Hide fundraising event for the Canadian Mental Health Association in Prince George, will be picking up some prizes tomorrow for their efforts.The June 26th event in P.G. saw 114 people  take to their bicycles  as part of a national bike ride to  break the stigma that surrounds mental illness.

The local riders raised $12,463 dollars for the  Canadian Mental Health Association in Prince George,  dollars that will be put towards mental health programs and services in this community.

The top three fundraisers in Prince George were:

Steve Leung – 1^st Prize, Bicycle donated by Cycle World Sports

Kelly Mould – 2^nd Prize, Gift Basket donated by Twisted Cork Restaurant

Devon Flynn- 3^rd Prize, Gift Basket donated by Karma Nutritionals

The prizes will be  presented tomorrow morning at the CMHA office  on Third Avenue.
