Cariboo Under Severe Thunderstorm Watch

Prince George, B.C.- Both Quesnel and Williams Lake are under a severe thunderstorm watch.
Environment Canada says conditions are ” favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.”
The severe thunderstorm watch includes much of the central south region of the province.

The light lines demark the weather forecast regions of BC.
The four cornered area above the yellow on the top right side is region 087400 which is the Prince George forecast region.

Yes, cities would be good landmarks to have. Invisible lines in the sky or near ground level with few other reference points are sort of useless.
