Rio de Janeiro, BR – Alyx Treasure of Prince George is headed to the high jump final in Rio.

She qualified with a personal best jump of 1.94 meters in this morning’s qualification round.

Treasure cleared her first attempts of 1.80, 1.85 and 1.89 meters. She reached 1.92 meters on her second attempt and cleared 1.94 meters on her third and final attempt.

The 24-year old Canadian champion will participate in her first Olympic finals this Saturday afternoon.
