New SD 57 Superintendent Arrives
Prince George, B.C.- Marilyn Marquis-Forster is now at the helm of School District 57.
The former Superintendent in the Swan Valley School Division in northwest Manitoba started her job yesterday.
The Board of Education has issued an official welcome to Marquis-Forster noting her previous experience in Manitoba and in the Hamilton -Wentworth District in Ontario are “a great rural and urban match for our school district. The communities of Mackenzie, McBride, Valemount and Prince George will be well served.”
The new superintendent says she is excited to be joining School District No. 57 (Prince George) and is looking forward to meeting students, staff and community members.
Marquis-Forster takes over the post which has been filled on an interim basis following the sudden retirement of Brian Pepper.
