Prince George, B.C. – B.C. Hydro crews are dealing with a total of 16 power outages affecting customers from Prince George to Fort St. John.

There are 14 outages in the Northern region affecting 1752 customers in Tumbler Ridge, 27 in Chetwynd, 150 in Dawson Creek and 49 in Fort St. John.  Some of the outages are caused by trees bringing down Hydro wires while others are as yet undetermined.

In the Central Interior region, 118 customers in the Mackenzie area have lost power due to a tree down across wires while 14 customers in the Reid Lake Road area, near Prince George, don’t have power due to a cause which is under investigation.

B.C. Hydro line crews are expected to arrive at the various trouble spots this afternoon.
