Prince George, B.C. – The Prince George Cougars still have 39 players with the team as they look ahead to the start of pre-season action this weekend.

The club says more players will be reassigned in the days and weeks to come. The roster has to be down to 25 players by October 10th.
The Cats kick of their exhibition season this Friday in Red Deer when they battle the Calgary Hitmen at 2:00 p.m. (local time).
On Saturday the Cougars face the Edmonton Oil Kings before heading south to Tri-Cities to play three games in three nights starting next Wednesday. Prince George will play Tri-Cities, Portland and the Kootenay Ice.
They will play their lone home pre-season game on Friday September 16th when divisional rivals Kamloops comes to town.
That game starts at 7:00 p.m.
