Prince George, B.C. – One man is in critical condition following a stabbing last night.

Mounties say it happened just before 7:00 p.m. near the corner of Victoria Street and 9^th Avenue. The victim was transported to the University Hospital of Northern BC for treatment.

The Prince George RCMP’s Major Crime Section has taken over the investigation with the assistance of the Forensic Identification Section and other specialized units. No word from police on whether or not a suspect or suspects have been identified.
