More Road Rehab Projects This Week

Prince George, B.C. – While traffic volume is expected to be boosted today as most holidays are over, the City wants you to know there are a number of road rehab projects that are scheduled to start today.Specifically, drivers can expect some delays on the following routes:
- 15th Avenue from Johnson to Alward
- Lane kilometers 3.500
- Estimated cost $444,000
- Estimated Completion week of September 12
- 5th Avenue from Ahbau to Ruggles
- Lane kilometers 2.360
- Estimated cost $300,000
- Estimated Completion week of September 12
- 5th Avenue from Carney to Edmonton
- Lane kilometers 3.696
- Estimated cost $364,000
- Estimated Completion week of September 12
- 4th Avenue from Edmonton to Victoria
- Lane kilometers 1.000
- Estimated cost $197,000
- Estimated Completion week of September 12
All projects are weather dependent.

Looks like the weather is not cooperating to-day, however it looks better going forward.
Have to give the Mayor and Council/City credit for getting some of this paving done. They inherited one hell of a mess from previous Councils.
Nice to see long stretches of streets without potholes.
so much for getting down town on a major route.
so glad I don’t need to go downtown for my maximum 3 hours of shopping.
Again the worst roads in PG, maybe in BC, Bear and marleau ignored. These are heavily traveled roads and with the crumbling pavement are getting dangerous.
Knock knock, city hall, anyone home?
Oh wait, got to get those bike lanes painted before winter snow covers them.
