Prince George, B.C. – Have a lot of paper material that needs shredding?  Well, you’re in luck because the Prince George Crime Stoppers Society is hosting a document shredding event today in the parking lot at Walmart.

This is an opportunity for the public to safely have personal or important documents shredded, thereby avoiding the possibility of identity theft should that documented information fall into the wrong hands.  This service is NOT meant for businesses.

Crime Stoppers, Shred-it Mobile Shredding Services and Walmart have teamed up to provide this service for a minimum donation of $5.  All proceeds go toward supporting the Prince George Crime Stopper Society.

The shredding event runs from 10 am to 2 pm today in the parking lot outside Walmart.
