Prince George, B.C. – Great news for fans of international hockey.

The Western Hockey League (WHL) has finally announced that tickets for the WHL leg of the 2016 CIBC Canada Russia Series are now available (click here for tickets).

The six-game series begins November 7 in Prince George at CN Centre. The series features regional league teams of Canadian National Junior Team candidates competing against the Russian National Junior Team.

The event will begin with two games in the WHL, followed by two Ontario Hockey League matchups and finally with two games hosted by the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

Since 2010 four Prince George Cougars have represented Team WHL: Jansen Harkins (2015), Troy Bourke (2013), Brett Connolly (2010) and Charles Ingis (2010).
