Zimmer Endorses Scheer For Leader
Prince George, B.C. – Prince George-Peace River-Northern Rockies Conservative MP Bob Zimmer has thrown his support behind Andrew Scheer in his party’s leadership race.
“I am pleased to be able to offer my support Andrew in his bid for leadership of the Conservative Party of Canada,” said Zimmer in a prepared statement.
“He is a young family man who has a sense of integrity and is well-respected. I believe he is someone that has the unity of the party and the ability to lead us effectively in Opposition and in Government.”
Scheer, an MP from Saskatchewan, is best known for his role as Speaker of the House of Commons during the latter years of the Stephen Harper government.
Scheer is one of six candidates seeking to succeed interim leader Rona Ambrose. The others are Tony Clement, Maxime Bernier, Michael Chong, Kellie Leitch, and Deepak Obhrai.
The party will choose its next leader on May 27, 2017.

Wiki says it all .
I guess policy doesn’t count for much? I know of a lot of great people that are honest family men that believe in trickle down economics and other nonsense like that….
Are they also religious zealots ? Or was that the nonsense you were referring too.
