Prince George, B.C. – Power has been restored to about 600 BC Hydro customers in the Shelly area.

It had been out since about 9:00 a.m. this morning. The electric utility believes a tree was likely to blame.

In the meantime 19 customers in the Malaspina Avenue area of College Heights are expected to have their power back on by 4:00 p.m. this afternoon.

BC Hydro attributes that outage to work being done on its equipment.
