Prince George, B.C. – A B.C. Hydro outage has knocked out power to close to 600 customers east of Prince George.

The power went out just after 9:00 a.m. this morning and is affecting residents in the Shelly area.

No word yet on what caused the outage or when power will be restored. Another outage in the Malaspina Avenue in College Heights is affecting 19 customers. BC Hydro attributes that outage to work being done on its equipment.

BC Hydro estimates power will be restored there by 4:00 p.m. this afternoon.
