Prince George, B.C. – The Prince George Spruce Kings will honour local veterans Friday night when they host the Coquitlam Express.

The evening will feature a pre-game ceremony at 6:50 p.m. and a ceremonial puck drop by two local veterans who have recently received the Legion of Honour. The event coincides with the Legion’s annual poppy campaign.

Spruce Kings players will be wearing special camouflage jerseys for the event and select jerseys will be auctioned during the game. The players will sign the jersey’s after the game and give them to the successful bidders.

Veterans and their spouses will receive free admission along with cadets and their parents.
