Cougars Extend Road Winning Streak to 7 Games

Cranbrook, B.C. – Brogan O’Brien and Jansen Harkins scored two goals apiece and Nick McBride made 33 saves to help the Prince George Cougars beat the Kootenay ICE 5-2 in Cranbrook last night.
Josh Curtis scored the other Cougar goal into an empty net. Austin Wellsby and Noah Philp replied for Kootenay in front of 1,542 fans at Western Financial Place.
The ICE outshot the Cats 35-33 while the victory kept Prince George unbeaten on the road at 7-0.
The 12-2-1 Cougars continue their three game road trip tomorrow night in Lethbridge.
