Preview: Cougars vs. Hurricanes

Friday, October 28, 2016 @ 11:30 AM

Tonight in Southern Alberta the Prince George Cougars look to keep a number of streaks alive when they tackle the Hurricanes for the first time in 2016-17. A win tonight would extend the Cougars regulation unbeaten streak to six, their road unbeaten streak to eight and their overall winning streak to three. The Hurricanes though are a very talented team that are looking to snap a five game skid, and you can bet the lively crowd in Lethbridge is going to be a factor for sure.

Tyler Wong: Had 43 goals a season ago and now as a 20-year-old remains one of the premiere threats in this Lethbridge lineup. He has six goals and three assists for nine points in 10 games this season.

Brennan Menell: No stranger to the Cougars as he spent the first two seasons of his career with the Vancouver Giants. Last season he had seven goals and 46 assists for 53 points. So far with Lethbridge he has two goals, and four assists in 11 games.

Stuart Skinner: Has had an up-and-down start to the season with a 5-6 record, a 4.09 goals-against-average and an .890 save percentage.
