Search Underway for Overdue Hunter and Child
Quesnel, B.C. – Police, along with Quesnel and Prince George Search and Rescue teams, are searching for an overdue hunter and his 10-year-old step son.
Quesnel RCMP Sgt. Chris Riddle says police were notified by family members yesterday that the pair failed to return as planned Saturday night.
He says 55-year-old Glen Brooker and his step son left to hunt the area of Stoney Lake or Narrow Lake northeast of Quesnel Saturday.
Brooker is driving a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 pick-up with BC license plate number 8413KR.
He was pulling a grey and green Kingfisher riverboat and may be using that boat on the lakes or waterways in the area. The also had with them their dog, a chocolate lab.
Anyone with information about their whereabouts are asked to call the Quesnel RCMP at 250-992-9211.

any new update on this??
Talked to the RCMP last night, nothing yet.
Was thinking of going out to help look.
Could be stuck on some muddy backroad waiting for help to arrive?? Personally I know that a lot of our backroads are in sad shape from all the sleet and rain we have been getting. Darn near had to walk out just the other day, going somewhere I shouldn’t have been, it happens.
