Quesnel, B.C. – Two hunters missing since Saturday have been located by rescue crews.
The pair were located safe and sound by a helicopter operated by Dunkley Lumber just before noon today.
Police say the hunter’s vehicle had experienced mechanical issues on a very remote road forcing them to stay out longer than expected.
They are also said to be in good spirits and on their way back to Quesnel to reconnect with family. The hunters, one of which included a 10-year-old boy, went out Saturday and were expected to return that evening.

awesome news
A at a boy to Dunkley lumber.
I second that, a big thanks to the people at Dunkley lumber on this successful conclusion to a scary situation.
To bad the boy missed Halloween, but he will have a story to tell for the rest of his life :)
My Dad taught me to drive the standard shift vehicle we had, when I was 11 years old and we were out many miles from nowhere, just in case. Its a good thing to know.
Probably wouldn’t have helped in this case. Good to know they are safe.
Thanks Dunkley!
Was out there today, there was a lot of trucks looking for them.
Glad there ok.
Glad that this had a positive outcome! All too often, things don’t end so well!
Hopefully this incident might remind all of us who use the outdoors to be prepared for unexpected situations!
