Thousands Attend Service at Cenotaph
Prince George, B.C.- Thousands of people filled Veteran’s Square in front of Prince George City Hall this morning to be part of the Remembrance Day service at the Cenotaph.
With lights flashing, the RCMP led a parade of Veterans, Legion members, Cadets, RCMP, Prince George Fire Rescue, Rocky Mountain Rangers and others, who marched in time to the music of the Prince George Pipe and Drum Band as they made their way from the Civic Centre to Veteran’s Plaza.

At right, Memorial Cross families ( Silver Cross) were the first to lay wreaths. In this image, Lorraine Matters, mother of Gregory Matters, is assisted in placing a poppy on her wreath, while the family of the late Kirby Tott waits for their opportunity.
