Prince George, B.C. – The Prince George RCMP is seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect involved in a morning stabbing.

Corporal Craig Douglass says it happened at around 8:15 this morning on the 1500 block of Pearson Avenue.

He says emergency crews arrived to find an adult male suffering from an apparent stab wound. The victim was sent to hospital for treatment while the suspect fled the scene before police arrived.

The suspect is described as:

• Male
• Bald
• 185 cm (6’1”)
• 91 kg (200 lbs)
• Wearing a red jacket

Anyone with information is asked to call police. Police say area schools have also been notified although they are not believed to be at risk.
