Theo Fleury Chosen Keynote Speaker for T-Wolves Legacy Breakfast

Prince George, B.C – Hockey great Theo Fleury will be the keynote speaker at next year’s third annual UNBC Timberwolves Legacy fleuryBreakfast.

The retired NHL all-star and Stanley Cup Winner is also the author of two best sellers – Playing with Fire and Conversations with a Rattlesnake.

Off the ice he’s known as a healing motivator with knowledge in the field of relational trauma and as keynote speaker will share his story of Don’t Quit Before the Miracle at the fundraising event at the Charles Jago Northern Sport Centre.

“We are thrilled that Theo is sharing his inspirational story at our Legacy Breakfast which is a major fundraiser in support of scholarships and bursaries for UNBC student athletes,” said Loralyn Murdoch, UNBC’s director of Athletics/Recreation.

“The Legacy Breakfast has exceeded all of our expectations to date and the goal of the committee is to continue making it bigger and better to serve the needs of our student athletes.”

Last year’s Legacy Breakfast featuring Canadian Football Hall of Famer Michael ‘Pinball’ Clemons as keynote speaker raised a record $52,000.

Next year’s event will take place Tuesday, Feb.7, 2017. Tickets cost $85 for an individual seat, or $650 for a table of eight. Breakfast starts at 7 a.m.
