One Person to Hospital in Van Accident

Prince George, B.C. – Prince George RCMP say one person has been taken to University Hospital of Northern BC following a single-vehicle accident early this morning.
Police were called after a mini-van smashed into the exterior wall of a taco shop in College Heights around 6 am. An officer on scene indicated that the driver may have suffered some sort of medical incident prior to the collision.
The condition of the driver is not known. The impact resulted in substantial damage to the vehicle. The RCMP investigation is continuing

Re-read the article, the officer said the driver “may have suffered some sort of medical incident”. Stop judging!

There have been several accidents attributed to “medical incidents” in the past little while. Perhaps it’s past time to make medical exams mandatory every X number of years. Are you a heart attack waiting to happen? Sorry! No license for you!
