REAPS Toy Drive on Today

Saturday, November 19, 2016 @ 7:45 AM

Prince George, B.C. – Do you have any good quality used toys, games, or other items of that type around that you’re thinking of disposing of?

Well here is an idea that will help yourself and those less fortunate out as we head toward the Christmas season.  REAPS is holding its 20th annual Toy Drive today at its Gorse Street location and Executive Director Terri McClymont says donations are being gladly received.

“It’s on from 10 am till 2 pm and we are accepting items for anything from newborns all the way up to 18 year olds.  So we’re looking for books, games, puzzles, quality used toys, dolls and clothing for dolls, trucks, that sort of thing.”  All of the items are sorted and will be distributed to local children’s organizations during the holiday season.

McClymont says they’re taking items for our four-legged friends as well.  “We’re also collecting for the Prince George Humane Society and for the SPCA, so any dog and cat, pet items are welcomed as well.”

You can drop your donations off at the REAPS Compost Demo Garden at 1950 Gorse Street.
