Prince George, B.C.- Members of the Independent Investigations Office  have been called to Prince George to investigate an in custody death.

Details of the  incident  have  not been made available, but 250News has learned  a person being held  in the cell block at the Prince George Detachment  has  died.

Prince George RCMP  cannot comment on the incident as the matter  is now in the  hands of  the IIO.

While the IIO has been contacted by  250News for  more  information on this matter,  the IIO  has not yet responded to our requests.
