Prince George, B.C. –  One person has died,  four others are injured  as a result of a crash on  Highway 97 north,   at Mt. Lemory,  just north of the Pine Pass.

The  crash,  involving a pick up truck and  car,  occurred   around 12:15 this  afternoon.

Highway 97  is closed through the area,  and will be  for some time as  the  crash is investigated.

There is no detour available.  Drive B.C.  says the  road will likely remain closed  until  10 tonight.   An update will be  available on DriveBC at 8:30 this evening.
