Incident At YXS

Prince George, B.C.-  A WestJet  Q400  plane  is circling the Prince George Airport,  having been diverted to   Prince George.

The Prince George Airport  has activated its Emergency Operations Centre  Agency ,   and Prince George Airport Authority  Emergency Services are on standby.

Prince George Fire Rescue,  the Pineview Volunteer Department,  and BC Ambulance are  all on scene.

While not confirmed,  there are  some reports the plane  was having difficulties with its landing gear.

Information on the flight’s origin, destination and number of passengers and crew  is not yet available.

Plane was enroute from Vancouver to terrace which diverted due to landing gear issues it has since landed safely at YXS
