“A Walk in the Park” by Terry Wilson,  winning entry – image courtesy  City of Prince George

Prince George, B.C. –  The   image that will be used for the Holiday Greeting card from  Prince George Mayor and Council has been chosen.

The  image  was  one of more than a 100  entered in the City’s Facebook page contest  that called for  a photo  that  depicted “Prince George in the Winter”.

Mayor Hall has chosen “A Walk in the Park” by  Terry Wilson.

On  the City’s Facebook page announcing the  selection,  Mayor Hall  is quoted as  saying choosing  just one  image was no easy task  “This is an absolutely stunning region of the country that naturally attracts and nurtures  incredible photographs  who look to capture he beauty they see all around them in every season.  Mr. Wilson’s photo is evidence of that.”

Terry Wilson will be invited to  a Council meeting to  receive thanks from the Mayor and Council and to recied a copy of the holiday card as well as a framed print of the image he submitted.
