Home Invasion Investigation Continues

Prince George, B.C. – The Prince George RCMP has released the name of a person they believe may have information about a home invasion in Prince George earlier this week.

The violent incident occurred early Tuesday morning at a residence on the 2300 block of Oak Street. Police attended the scene to find an adult male with significant but non-life threatening injuries.cop-photo

Six firearms were stolen and police believed that to be the target of the robbery. Police believe more than one person is responsible.

Investigators would like to speak to 20-year-old Michelle Brittany Mercier. Police believe she has information that is vital to the investigation and are asking her to go to the RCMP detachment on Victoria Street to speak with officers.

Mercier is described as:

  • Female of Hispanic descent
  • 5-2
  • 105 pounds
  • Brown hair
  • Brown eyes
  • Tattoos on her arms and shoulders

Anyone with information about Mercier’s whereabouts is asked to call police at 250-561-3300.
