Prince George, B.C. – One person has been taken to hospital with minor injuries  as a result of a multiple vehicle crash on Damms  Road,  west of  Highway 97 South,  south of  Prince George.

RCMP say the road conditions  on Damms Road  were treacherous when  at least 5 vehicles  were involved in the crash.

The injured person is said to have been hurt when they tried to  get out of their vehicle and   were struck  by  a  vehicle that was sliding.  That person has been taken to hospital  in a private vehicle.

The crash  happened  about  7:40 this morning.

Emergency personnel  are still on the scene.
