Railway and Forestry Museum Ready to Light it Up

Prince George, B.C. – The Railway and Forestry Museum  has been working  hard to have  all the lights in place in time for the annual Celebration of Lights.

A sneak  preview of the  lights will be  available this Friday from 4-7 pm,  admission  will be  free  if  you make a  donation of a non-perishable food item  or  toy in support of the Prince George Salvation Army.  Santa won’t be able to  make an appearance at the sneak  preview,  but will be  on hand once the Celebration of Lights officially kicks off on December 18th.

From December 18th to  the 23rd,   the  Railway and Forestry  Museum will  be open from 11 am to 8 pm , and  open  from 11 am to 6 pm on Christmas Eve.  Visitors  can enjoy the Christmas village and displays,   hot chocolate and roasting  hot dogs, or making s’mores around    a bonfire.   The Cottonwood Railway train will be   offering rides  as long as the weather cooperates.  Regular admission rates apply  December 18th to  24th.
