Railway and Forestry Museum Ready to Light it Up
Prince George, B.C. – The Railway and Forestry Museum has been working hard to have all the lights in place in time for the annual Celebration of Lights.
A sneak preview of the lights will be available this Friday from 4-7 pm, admission will be free if you make a donation of a non-perishable food item or toy in support of the Prince George Salvation Army. Santa won’t be able to make an appearance at the sneak preview, but will be on hand once the Celebration of Lights officially kicks off on December 18th.
From December 18th to the 23rd, the Railway and Forestry Museum will be open from 11 am to 8 pm , and open from 11 am to 6 pm on Christmas Eve. Visitors can enjoy the Christmas village and displays, hot chocolate and roasting hot dogs, or making s’mores around a bonfire. The Cottonwood Railway train will be offering rides as long as the weather cooperates. Regular admission rates apply December 18th to 24th.
