Prince George B.C. – Last night’s snowfall has made for slippery road conditions.
At around 2:10 p.m. today a pickup rolled over just off Queensway Street on the Highway 97 on-ramp.
There were no reported injuries.

Sure looks like the 97 south ON ramp to me.
Thanks
You get much better traction with the tires on the road than on the roof like that.
That looks like thew safest place for him.
Probably stepped on the gas to merge. Couldn’t control his truck when it kicked out
The merge lane wasn’t designed for the speeds the traffic you have to merge into are usually going. Makes it tricky when it is icy.
Looks to be a 4×4,,should have had it engaged
Looks like the driver needs driving lessons.
Cheers
Like many of the “super duties” driving around, more money than skills.
This merge lane is one of the worst in town. The speed, the angle of entry and the sharp radius are all factors in making this merge lane very tricky. It is difficult even when road conditions are perfect. I travel this road often and I can see how a person can get into this predicament very quickly. Not making excuses, just stating facts..
Aww c’mon everyone, maybe the driver had a medical episode! Nah, I think it was simply a case of someone who thought they could “handle ‘er”. Case in point, look at the little car in the background driving by with no issue like all the other vehicles that day.
