Party On, but Don’t Drink and Drive
Prince George, B.C.- Tonight’s a big night for parties in Prince George as folks say goodbye to 2016 and ring in the New Year.
RCMP’s CounterAttack will be out in full force, to ensure revellers haven’t gotten behind the wheel after too much celebrating. The City has hired a security firm to ensure folks don’t head to the Nechako River to carry on the celebrations.
Prince George Transit will be operating special New Year’s Eve service (click here for schedule) with free transit service from 7 this evening until 3 in the morning.
Operation Red Nose will have 25 teams ready to get you home safely from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. ( one hour later than usual). In order to reduce wait times, Operation Red Nose will only be providing rides within the City Limits.
Comments
There will always be idiots out there who will drink and drive and there will be people like me watching for them so they can be reported to the RCMP
LIike me or hate me I would rather see you home safe and sound rather than picking body parts off the ground again
Ditto!
