policecarnewPrince George, B.C. -One man is in  custody following a break and enter  in  the Hart area of Prince George.

Just after noon  yesterday,  a male was  found inside a Valleyview  Drive home.   The suspect claimed to be a police officer,  and fled the scene in a black Dodge pick-up before  police were called.

Prince George RCMP  officers  were on their way  to the  b&e scene  when they spotted the suspect  vehicle  heading southbound on Highway 97.

A search of the  vehicle  revealed a loaded SKS rifle  that had been stolen from a  Prince George residence  on December 18th.
