The YMCA , in cooperation with Fun City Sliders, is bringing the 1,000 ft slip n’ slide back to the city in July of this year.
It’s a fund raising event for the Y which will make 4,000 tickets available in an effort to raise $25 thousand dollars for YMCA Strong Kids.
Right now, one in 5 children in the community needs financial assistance to take part in YMCA camps and programs such as Camp Kanannaq, the Aurora Leadership Program, Neighborhood Scholars and subsidized memberships.
The event, set for July 15th, is adding some extras this year, including a Family Pass package and unlimited slider passes for the full day.
Tickets are expected to go quickly, and there is an early bird discount currently in effect.
