Prince George, B.C. – Good news in Vanderhoof where BC Hydro crews are making some major headway following a major power outage this morning.

It was caused by a motor vehicle accident just after 1:30 a.m. knocking out power to about 4,600 customers in the area.

And though power wasn’t expected to be fully restored until noon just over 450 are still in the dark.

Though crews are ahead of schedule, schools in Vanderhoof remain closed today.

In the meantime, the North District RCMP still hasn’t released any details regarding this morning’s accident.

Power back on at Cluculz. I heat with power. Made for a chilly night.

Same for us, but no chilly night. If I would have my Way, every House in this Cold Place has to have a Wood Stove ,just for Days like this ,a good Stove and plenty of Wood makes your Day!

    Darn toot’in!

Power out at Cluculz at 2:30.

Used to be I called Hooterville a one horse town. Now it’s a one pole town.
Knock down one pole and it’s lights out. Ha Ha.
