Prince George, B.C. – A victory and a loss for the UNBC Timberwolves in CIS basketball action at the Charles Jago Northern Sport Centre Friday night.

The UNBC women’s team scored a decisive 70-48 victory over the Mount Royal Cougars to improve their record to 4 and 9 on the season.  MRU is 2 and 9.  The teams meet again at 5 this afternoon.

Over on the men’s side MRU recorded a 78-64 victory over the Timberwolves.  That result leaves UNBC with a 4 and 9 mark while the Cougars are 6 and 5 on the season.  Game time for the men tonight is 7 pm.
