Air Advisory in Vanderhoof

Vanderhoof, B.C. – High concentrations of fine particulate matter has prompted an air advisory in Vanderhoof.
According to the Ministry of Environment the provincial air quality objective for PM 2.5 concentrations is 25 micrograms per cubic metre and Vanderhoof is currently sitting at 38.2.
Persons with chronic underlying medical conditions should postpone strenuous exercise until the advisory is lifted. Exposure is also a concern for the elderly and infants.
