Cariboo Cougars Set New Victory Mark

Prince George, B.C. – The Cariboo Cougars have yet another first to add to their impressive history as they prepare to host the nation at the Telus Cup this spring.

The club made franchise history today as they picked up their 32nd win of the season, an 8-1 road victory over the Vancouver Northwest Giants.  With the win, the 2016/2017 season becomes the winningest in Cariboo Cougars franchise history, surpassing the 31 victories recorded in 2012/2013.

The Cougars have two games remaining in the regular season in which they will host the Telus Cup, the National Midget Championship in April.

The remaining games will be played next weekend at Kin 1 as they take on the Okanagan Rockets.
