Prince George  BC -The Regional District of Fraser Fort George  wrapped up its milestone  birthday with a get together at the Regional  District Boardroom  on George Street this afternoon.

Attended by  current and some past Directors, and staff ,   it was a time to share some history,  reminisce  and  visit with  friends from throughout the region.

As part of the 50th  birthday year celebrations,  the RDFFG has produced  a special celebration  page on its website,  highlighting 50  historical  people, places and accomplishments of the RDFFG.

The  Regional District will be  on the road this year,  holding meetings and open houses in Mackenzie, McBride and Valemount,  as well as visiting many of the  events planned in communities  throughout the  region  over the coming months.
