Police Seek Suspect in Drone Theft

Prince George, B.C.- Prince George RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in the theft of two drones.
Two “unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), were stolen from an electronics store on Southride Avenue in early January.
The two DJI Phantom drones are valued at more than $2200.
Although surveillance video has provided an image of a suspect, RCMP have not been able to identify him, and are hoping a member of the public can put a name to the face.
The suspect ( shown in image at right) is described as:
- Caucasian male
- Approximately 60 year old
- Fair complexion
- Medium build
Anyone with information about the theft or the suspect is asked to contact Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300 or Crime Stoppers at 1 800-222-8477

This is a worrying trend for security agencies and police. They can be used to transport all sorts of contraband, drugs, surveillance during criminal activities. They can also used as a weapon by terrorists delivering explosives to a target.
They are very difficult to defend against.
