Monday, April 3, 2017 @ 6:54 PM

Prince George, B.C. –  An application to rezone  a property   on the west end of Range Road for a multi residential  development  has raised  concerns  of Prince George City Council.

Administration  has concerns about the  stability of the steep slopes,  and the potential  for a slide.

Manager  of Development  Services  Ian Wells,  says there is also run off  coming across the property  and a retaining wall in place which places challenges on access.

Council has  approved 1st and second  readings with  the following conditions applied:

  • That  a Public Hearing BE WITHHELD until the following requirements have been met to the satisfaction of Administration:

                                      Receipt of a Servicing Brief;

                                      Receipt of a Traffic Impact Analysis; and

                                     Receipt of a Geotechnical Report.

                                     In addition, any recommendations presented in the preceding items must be addressed to the satisfaction of the General Manager of Planning and Development.
