Rezoning Application Moves Forward, With Conditions
Prince George, B.C. – An application to rezone a property on the west end of Range Road for a multi residential development has raised concerns of Prince George City Council.
Administration has concerns about the stability of the steep slopes, and the potential for a slide.
Manager of Development Services Ian Wells, says there is also run off coming across the property and a retaining wall in place which places challenges on access.
Council has approved 1st and second readings with the following conditions applied:
- That a Public Hearing BE WITHHELD until the following requirements have been met to the satisfaction of Administration:
Receipt of a Servicing Brief;
Receipt of a Traffic Impact Analysis; and
Receipt of a Geotechnical Report.
In addition, any recommendations presented in the preceding items must be addressed to the satisfaction of the General Manager of Planning and Development.
