Williams Lake , B.C. – Four people have been taken to hospital  for minor injuries,  following a crash  on Highway 20 west of Williams Lake.

RCMP  say  a Volkswagen Jetta had been spotted by police  eastbound on Highway 20 around 4:30 \Friday  afternoon.
A short time later,  RCMP located the same vehicle in the ditch; it appeared to have rolled several times.

The Williams Lake RCMP, Traffic Services and Collision Reconstructionist attended the scene to investigate the cause of the collision. Initial  investigation suggests the vehicle had been travelling at a high rate of speed. All four occupants were transported to Cariboo Memorial Hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.

The collision is still under investigation, at this time, it appears speed and alcohol may be contributing factors.
