Last Chance to Register for Spring Clean Up
Prince George, B.C. – Time is running out to register for the City of Prince George’s annual Spring Clean Up Day this Sunday.
You can register in person at REAPS (1950 Gorse Street) or at City Hall. You can also call REAPS at 250-561-7327 or send an email to events@reaps.org.
Last year’s event drew about 4,600 volunteers and over 11,000 kilograms of garbage was collected.
Volunteers are expected to provide a six-hour commitment from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (people can start earlier if they like).
Drop-off bins will be set up around the city (click here for exact locations) while pitch-in bags and gloves for community groups can be ordered free of change through REAPS.
Garden and yard waste can be taken free of charge to the Foothills Landfill or the Quinn Street and Vanway Transfer and Recycle Stations.
No large household items or hazardous materials are accepted.

Maybe all the schools should be forced to take part! If CHSS and the mess they create on Domano is any indication, the areas around the schools should be top priority!
“Volunteers are expected to provide a six-hour commitment”
How Dare You — When you Volunteer for something you Volunteer the Time you have NOT a Set Time – Disgusting – asking for 6 hrs.
