Prince George, B.C. – The Cariboo Cougars have failed to advance at the Telus Cup after tying the Mississauga Rebels 2-2 in a must-win game Friday night at CN Centre.

Jeremy Gervais and Ty Koller scored for the Cougars who outshot their opponents 36-16.

They finished the tournament with a 1-2-2 record.

In other action Friday the Regina Pat Canadians beat the Cape Breton West Islanders 5-2 and Team Quebec beat the Leduc Oil Kings 6-3.

The two semi-final games go later today starting at 11:30 a.m. (Team Quebec vs. Team West) and 3:30 p.m. (Team Atlantic vs Team Central).

The bronze medal game and the final go tomorrow.
