Power Restored to Most

Prince George, B.C.- Power has been restored to nearly all 5,798 customers in Prince George, who were knocked off the grid this afternoon.
BC Hydro’s Bob Gammer says a damaged insulator in the foothills substation was the culprit that caused the electricity to be cut around 2:40 this afternoon. He says power has since been restored to all but 315 customers, and there is no word on when they will be back on line, nor can he pinpoint the area (s) which has yet to have power restored.
Power was restored at 4 this afternoon, about 1 hour and 20 minutes after it had gone off.
