Smoke from fire visible from downtown Prince George – photo 250News
Prince George, B.C. – A column of smoke visible from much of Prince George was the result of a vehicle that was ablaze west of the University of Northern B.C.
Prince George Fire Rescue received a call about the fire in the Cranbrook Hill Greenway over the noon hour.
When they arrived on scene, they not only had to deal with the burning vehicle, but the flames that had spread to the adjacent brush.
RCMP were notified and attended the scene.
There has been no word yet from the RCMP on if this vehicle had been stolen and was intentionally torched.
