Thousands More Cast Their Ballots Early

Prince George, B.C. – Day three of advance polling was another busy one in British Columbia.
Elections B.C. says 96,457 people voted yesterday, good for a three day total of 327,491.
Prior to the 2013 provincial election, advance polls were open four days and attracted just over 366,000 – or 20 per cent of eligible voters.
In Prince George-Mackenzie, 1,225 people voted Wednesday for a three day total of 2,602.
Meanwhile in Prince George-Valemount, 1,300people voted for a three day total of 2,950.
Advance polling continues through Saturday.
General Voting Day is scheduled for May 9.
